They are inspired by my mother-in-law’s lovely egg cosies from her childhood home – a simple, everyday object filled with history and warmth.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-id=\"99a63871-6e0e-4ac2-938b-1b4ce6874b9c\"\u003eThe egg cosies keep your eggs warm a little longer while adding a touch of nostalgia and handcrafted charm to your table.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eFor the head, 2 small circles are worked in treble crochet, laid double and joined along part of the edge with single crochet stitches. The remaining edges are folded apart and treated as an opening around which the body is worked, mainly in triple puff stitch. Finally, the comb and beak are crocheted onto the ridge of the head.
